Aufgaben

Would you like to gain insights into corporate communications at an international automobile manufacturer? Are you interested in executive communication, corporate strategy, and framing content into memorable images and messages? Then become part of our team and support us in shaping the Corporate Communication of Mercedes-Benz from September/October 2024.

As a part of Corporate Communications, the Executive & Corporate Messaging department's main task is the preparation of written text and speeches for the Chairman of the Board as well as the overall corporate messaging.

Your tasks:

• Preparation of English and German speeches, presentations, signed articles, employee letters, video scripts, editorials, social media content and similar texts for the CEO of Mercedes-Benz
• Developing concepts for internal and external platforms on subjects related to corporate development
• Acquiring and coordinating information. Collecting input from relevant stakeholders and sources
• Effective and friendly cooperation with internal departments and external suppliers to achieve the desired results

Profil

Your qualifications:

• Enrolled student in a relevant field
• Experience in editing/ copywriting. Interest in and understanding of strategic, political, social, business and financial contexts
• Very good linguistic skills, a fluid writing style and the ability to present difficult, complex and abstract topics in a clear, comprehensive and engaging way
• A strong ability and interest in developing creative communication ideas for analog and digital communication channels. Social media affinity and copywriting experience (focus on LinkedIn)
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Powerpoint). Experience with image and film editing software is a plus; the same goes for AI-based image generators
• Sensitivity and empathy for the needs of the clients and their target groups
  Ability to think from the target groups' perspective and use the appropriate tone
• English language proficiency is a prerequisite
• Teamwork skills and good sense of humor
